Michael Berger serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health at the University of Victoria while leading research as Principal Investigator at the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD). He holds a concurrent appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of British Columbia.
Berger's research focuses on rehabilitation science, spinal cord injury recovery, and neurorehabilitation technologies. His ICORD laboratory develops translational approaches to neurological repair and functional recovery.
