Michael Benson

Dr. Michael Benson is the Associate Head of Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University, overseeing apprenticeship programs in Digital Finance, Supply Chain Leadership, and Management. With 25 years in senior business roles (e.g., Asda Stores PLC) and 11+ years in academia, he bridges industry and education through applied research in retailing and sustainable supply chains. His doctoral thesis on category management relationships in UK grocery markets was praised as a practical application of Service-Dominant Logic theory.
