Michael A. Bianchi

Michael A. Bianchi, MS, DDS, serves as Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he is chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and director of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program. Board certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, he specializes in pediatric craniofacial reconstruction and surgical innovation.

Dr. Bianchi earned his DDS from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical focus spans craniofacial surgery, cleft lip/palate reconstruction, dental implants, and orthognathic procedures, with notable recognition for pioneering computer-generated 3D skull modeling in surgical planning featured across national and international media outlets.

As residency program director, he oversees clinical training for future oral and maxillofacial surgeons while maintaining an active practice providing comprehensive pediatric dental care and reconstructive surgery at St. Christopher's Hospital.
