Ieva Bāgante is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). Her research focuses on cleft lip and palate, alveolar bone grafting, and maxillofacial surgical interventions. She has contributed to long-term studies on surgical outcomes for patients with craniofacial anomalies, emphasizing clinical case reports and pediatric surgical practices.
Research Interests: Dr. Bāgante’s work addresses complex surgical cases, including orbital floor fractures, frontal sinus trauma, and complications from cleft palate repairs. She has published extensively on bone grafting techniques and the genetic factors influencing cleft palate development.
