Merit Thursday

Merit Thursday (he/him) serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), contributing as an educator and experimental animator in the Minneapolis arts community.

His research-driven creative practice critically examines transsexuality, queerness, desire, and internal psychological landscapes through aesthetically and procedurally innovative animation techniques. He actively shapes local art discourse as curator and host of the monthly durational performance showcase Weird Stuff Only, featured at venues like Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater.
