Masakazu Akagi serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Photography at Osaka University of Arts' Faculty of Arts. He concurrently leads Echolocation Co., Ltd. as its Representative Director. With over 10,000 professional dives, his career spans National Geographic features, Kanebo campaigns, and underwater cinematography for films like Sea Disaster 1890. He pioneered the world's first 8K underwater footage and currently collaborates with NHK on 8K programming.
