Melody Terras is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Education and Social Sciences, University of the West of Scotland. She holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow (1997) and is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS).
