Melanie McCarry is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Strathclyde. Her research focuses on gender-based violence, domestic abuse, sexual violence in educational settings, and masculinity studies. She co-leads a Scottish Government-funded project implementing the Equally Safe policy in higher education, producing a widely adopted campus safety toolkit. Melanie teaches on BA and MSc Social Policy programs and actively supervises PhD students in related fields.
