Karen Lorimer is a Reader in Social Science and Health at the School of Health & Life Sciences, Glasgow Caledonian University. As a sociologist, her work focuses on sexual health, sexual wellbeing, gender-based violence, and the capability approach. She leads a British Academy/Leverhulme project on working-class women and sexual violence.
