Melanie Haas is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Syracuse University's Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition within the College of Arts & Sciences, holding a part-time faculty position. She previously served as English faculty, department chair for Arts and Sciences, and interim dean of General Studies at Southeast Arkansas College, and as adjunct English faculty at Tarleton State University, Texas Woman’s University, and Weatherford College in Texas.
