Mehmet Eren is an Attending Physician at Koç University Hospital since 2023, with extensive clinical and research experience in orthopedic surgery, hand trauma, and microsurgery. He has held specialist roles at institutions including Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital (2020–2023) and Aksaray Training and Research Hospital (2014–2017).
- Education: Medical Degree from Ankara University (2000–2006), Specialization in Orthopedics at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital (2007–2012), Postdoctoral Training in Hand Surgery at Baltalimanı Metin Sabancı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital (2018–2020).
Clinical Interests: Hand injuries and trauma, replantation surgery, microsurgery, congenital hand/finger disorders, and compressive neuropathies. His research focuses on musculoskeletal pain and nerve-related pathologies.
Affiliations: Member of the Turkish Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTBİD), Turkish Society for Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity, and Emergency Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Association. Since 2021, he has contributed to TOTBİD Journal as a member of its publication, referee, and technical committees.
Teaching: Served as an instructor in the Basic Microsurgery courses organized by the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association in 2023.
