Megan Pionke Ames is a Grammy Award-nominated music educator and Lecturer at VanderCook College of Music. She holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from VanderCook and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. Currently serving as Band Director at Park Campus School in Grayslake District 46 for 18 years, her ensembles have achieved superior ratings at IGSMA State Organizational contests and received the NAMM award for community music support.
- Also serves as Assistant Marching Band Director and Jazz Choir Accompanist at Grayslake Central High School.
- Active as a clinician and director in the Chicagoland area.
