Megan Panzano is a Lecturer in Architecture and Senior Director of Early Design Education at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD). She coordinates and teaches design studios and representation courses across graduate and undergraduate programs. Her independent practice, studioPM, explores inclusive architectural forms through the interplay of images, objects, and space. Panzano has received numerous awards for her architectural and pedagogical work, including the 2020 Clifford Wong Prize and multiple Harvard Excellence in Teaching awards.
Education:
- B.A. in Architecture with honors from Yale University
- Master of Architecture with distinction from Harvard GSD (Recipient: John E. Thayer Award, James Templeton Kelley Thesis Prize)
Research Interests:
Panzano focuses on housing, public art, and architectural representation. Her work emphasizes progressive spatial design that fosters open-ended subjectivity and inclusivity. Recent projects include perceptual playgrounds, domestic living prototypes, and exhibitions like 'Architectural Artifacts' at Boston’s pinkcomma gallery.
