Megan O'Neill is a Professor of Criminology at the University of Dundee, where she researches policing, police culture, and community relations. She serves as Associate Director of the Police Community Relations Network at the Scottish Institute for Policing Research and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (2019–2024).
Her education includes a PhD from the University of Aberdeen (2003) focusing on football policing in Scotland, and a BA from Albion College (1997).
O'Neill's research explores plural policing, stop/search reform, organizational justice, and technology's impact on law enforcement.
