Anne Coxon serves as Professor of Practice in Forensic Science and Deputy Director at the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, University of Dundee, where she bridges academic research with practical forensic applications and institutional leadership.

Dr. Coxon leads the Clarus project (2023-2026) addressing bias in digital forensic workflows while developing public-facing resources like the Royal Society of Chemistry Forensic Chemistry @Home Kit. Her publication portfolio demonstrates consistent focus on practical forensic education and communication reliability.
She maintains active grant funding through the Clarus project and extensive public engagement including the Norwich Science Festival (2025), STEMM Careers events, and presentations at the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors Symposium (2024).
