Dr. Megan O'Grady is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. As an applied social psychologist and health services researcher, her work focuses on improving care systems and prevention strategies for substance use disorders.
Education:
- Ph.D., Colorado State University
Her research program, supported by state and federal grants, centers on: 1) developing and implementing new service models in community health settings; 2) creating technology tools for addiction care; and 3) conducting quality improvement interventions. She currently serves as PI or Co-I on multiple NIH grants and leads evaluations for SAMHSA and state-funded projects in New York and Connecticut.
Dr. O'Grady directs the Center for Prevention Evaluation and Statistics (CPES) at UConn Health, which aligns with her expertise in systems-level approaches to public health challenges.
