Medha Verma

Dr. Medha Verma is a Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University, where she joined in 2023. She teaches on the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing and MSc Adult Nursing programs, contributing to the development of future nursing professionals. Her academic and clinical background spans over 15 years in nursing education and practice.

Her research interests focus on nursing education, with emphasis on student and staff support, wellbeing, and the integration of evidence-based practices in clinical and teaching environments. She is passionate about creating supportive learning environments that enhance educational outcomes and professional growth in nursing.

Dr. Verma has authored books on burnout syndrome, nursing informatics, and nursing foundations, reflecting her commitment to advancing nursing knowledge and education. She previously managed a Diploma program in Critical Care Nursing and led initiatives in hybrid learning program development for nurses.

She completed her BSc (Hons) and MSc in Nursing (Critical Care) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, and earned her PhD in Nursing from the National Consortium for PhD (Nursing), Indian Nursing Council. Her career bridges clinical expertise, educational leadership, and academic scholarship.

Dr. Verma has held diverse roles including Registered Nurse in elderly care, clinical educator, and Senior Manager at a nursing education start-up, where she led teams in developing innovative educational programs.
