Meaghan McAllister is a Researcher and Research Project Coordinator at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University (ECU). She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University (2002). Her work focuses on improving healthcare access and outcomes for Aboriginal Australians affected by brain injury, stroke, and communication disorders. Key initiatives include the Missing Voices project, which addresses gaps in communication disorder assessment and rehabilitation for Indigenous populations. She has contributed to clinical trials (e.g., Healing Right Way RCT) and developed culturally secure healthcare models.
