Md Shajedur Rahman

Md Shajedur Rahman is a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham's School of Education, UK, and holds an ESRC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Open University, UK. His work focuses on race, faith-based expression, and education systems in England, alongside TPD in resource-restricted contexts. He investigates agency-structure dynamics using Critical Realism and advocates for decolonising research methodologies.

Qualifications include an MA in Primary Education (Policy and Practice) from University College London (IOE) and an MEd in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from the University of Dhaka. He previously worked on the UK DFID-funded English in Action project in Bangladesh, focusing on teacher development.
