Quazi Rahman

Quazi Rahman serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University's Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Rahman holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary (2002), an M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dhaka University, Bangladesh (1992), and a B.Sc. in the same field from Dhaka University (1990). As a licensed professional engineer in Ontario and a senior member of IEEE, he brings significant industry and academic credentials to his teaching and research.

His research spans wireless communications, software applications in Electrical Engineering, and specialized teaching methodology research. Dr. Rahman teaches foundational courses including Programming Fundamentals for Engineers (ES1036a/b), UNIX and C (SE2250), Electric Circuits I (ECE2250), and advanced topics like Advanced Topics in Wireless Communications (ECE4433), reflecting his dual expertise in both hardware and software aspects of electrical engineering.
