Ken McIsaac is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University's Faculty of Engineering. He serves as Chair of the department and Associate Director (Acting) of the Center for Planetary Science and Exploration. As a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, he combines academic leadership with technical expertise.

His research focuses on robotics, including mobile robotics, industrial automation, and human-robot interaction, with applications in computer vision for planetary science, assistive devices, and municipal waste management. He has supervised numerous graduate students working on topics such as FPGA acceleration for image processing and teleoperation of lunar rovers.
