معرفی
Associate Professor Mayuresh Korgaonkar is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Sydney's Westmead Clinical School, and serves as Research Director at the Brain Dynamics Centre, Westmead Institute for Medical Research. His research focuses on neuroimaging biomarkers for mental health disorders, particularly depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. Key interests include functional connectivity, treatment-resistant depression, and translational research. He leads clinical trials exploring neurofeedback and pharmacotherapy effects using fMRI and EEG. Current advisees include Loretta Duffy (exploring auditory hallucinations) and Grace Harvie (functional connectivity in ADHD).
Research highlights include identifying neural biotypes in depression/anxiety, connectivity differences in ADHD subtypes, and PTSD treatment response predictors. Over 150 publications span topics like amygdala reactivity, habenula connectivity, and brain structural changes in mental disorders. Collaborations with international consortia (e.g., ENIGMA) advance large-scale mental health research.
