Maurizio Pacilli is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University and affiliated with Monash Health. He specializes in paediatric surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques, colorectal surgery, and clinical trials. His international career includes training in Italy, the UK, and Australia, culminating in the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Paediatric Surgery (2015).

As a supervisor for the Avant Doctor in Training Research Scholarship (2021-2022), he mentors emerging researchers.
