Maurice Carlos Ruffin is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Louisiana State University, affiliated with the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. He is a distinguished author of three critically acclaimed works: The American Daughters, The Ones Who Don’t Say They Love You, and We Cast a Shadow, all recognized as New York Times Editor’s Choices. His research focuses on Creative Writing and American Literature.
