Maureen Kilgour

Maureen Kilgour is a Professor in the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Winnipeg. She holds a PhD and specializes in interdisciplinary research addressing gender inequality, corporate responsibility, and sustainable development goals. As a co-founder of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education Working Group on Gender Equality, she has contributed to global initiatives on workplace equity and women's empowerment. Her teaching focuses on business ethics, organizational behavior, and human rights in business contexts.

Dr. Kilgour’s research spans gender equality in management education, corruption mitigation, and the intersection of business practices with the SDGs. She has co-edited influential books on gender integration in business curricula and leads discussions on feminist foreign policy frameworks. Her prior career included roles in industrial relations, pay equity implementation in Manitoba healthcare, and government policy advising.

Her professional contributions extend to consulting for healthcare and nonprofit organizations, alongside leadership in global gender equality initiatives. Beyond academia, she engages in music, hiking, and literature.
