Matthew Hughes is an Associate Professor in the Division of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah and serves as Deputy Director of the Rocky Mountain Center of Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH). He acts as a special liaison to Weber State University, leading the integration of occupational nursing programs and undergraduate degree initiatives in occupational health and safety between the two institutions.
Research Interests: His work focuses on evidence-based analysis and development of management practices to advance occupational health and safety, with additional expertise in toxicology, opioid-related research, and musculoskeletal medicine.
