Matthew Fairhurst is a PhD candidate in Theology at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge (Robinson College), with a focus on Christian theology and Patristics. His research explores soteriology and eschatology in Isaac of Nineveh's writings, while his prior work examined Maximus the Confessor's theology and theological method in Dumitru Staniloae, Rowan Williams, and Friedrich Schleiermacher. He also investigates intersections between theology, poetry, and music.
