Clinton Collister is a Researcher at the University of Oxford, affiliated with Pusey House and The Center for Theology, Law, and Culture. He is also a PhD Candidate in Christian Theology at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Theology and Literature, with research on theological anthropology and eschatology through poetry by T.S. Eliot, John Heath-Stubbs, and Geoffrey Hill. His work engages with Charles Taylor, Thomas Pfau, Thomas Aquinas, and Augustine.
In 2021, Clinton joined Pusey House, Oxford, as a staff member teaching Christian Doctrine and Ethics. His editorial roles include Nashotah House Press and The Cranmer Theological Journal, where he has edited works on Christian thought and historical theology.
Clinton’s publications, such as Charles Chapman Grafton: Selected Writings (2022) and John Neville Figgis’s The Gospel and Human Needs (2025), reflect his expertise in theological anthropology, Christian Platonist traditions, and ethics. His research bridges secularism, modernity, and theological responses, emphasizing historical and literary frameworks.
