Matteo Fornasier

Matteo Fornasier is a Professor of Civil Law and Labour Law at the University of Greifswald, appointed since May 2019. His academic journey includes studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, London School of Economics, and Yale Law School (LL.M.). He holds a doctoral degree (Dr.) from Munich (2011) and a professorial qualification (Habilitation) from Hamburg (2016).

• Guest Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan and China-EU School of Law (Peking)

Research Focus: Civil law, labour law, private international law, and comparative law. His post-doctoral work examined cross-border collective agreements in European law.
