Dr. Matt Tettleton is Lecturer in English at UT Arlington with 10+ years in higher education. He holds a PhD in Literature from University of Colorado Boulder (2022), MA in English from Texas Christian University (2015), and BA in English from UT Arlington (2010).
Research Focus: Examines intersections of American literature, sports culture, and surveillance through critical theory frameworks.
Teaching: Regularly instructs American Literature, Rhetoric/Composition, and Structure of Modern English courses.
Professional Leadership: Currently serves as President of Sport Literature Association (2024-2025) and previously as Program Coordinator.
