Rachael Anne Mariboho

Dr. Rachael Anne Mariboho is a Lecturer in the Department of English at The University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a PhD (2016), MA (2007), and BA (2004) in English from UT Arlington and Southwestern Adventist University, respectively. Her research focuses on comparative literature, magical realism, and environmental trauma in film, with notable presentations at conferences like the American Comparative Literature Association and Popular Culture Association. She has advised students in undergraduate honors activities and contributed to university governance through roles in the Faculty Senate and Honors College Research Symposium judging. Teaching spans courses on British/American literature, rhetoric, and technical writing from 2008 to 2025. Professional memberships include the American Comparative Literature Association and Modern Language Association.
