Matilda Baraibar is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economic History and International Relations, Stockholm University. Her research focuses on globalization, trade, and (un)sustainability, particularly in the context of agricultural transformation and food security.
- Co-authored The Soybean Through World History: Lessons for Sustainable Agrofood Systems (Routledge, 2023)
- Authored The Political Economy of Agrarian Change in Latin America (Springer, Palgrave, 2020)
- Recipient of Stockholm University's 2021 Teacher of the Year Award
