Mathilde Macaux is a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at the Department of History of Art and Archaeology, University of Namur (UNamur). Her research focuses on the adaptive reuse of rural monastic sites in Belgium during the 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly their conversion into industrial complexes such as spinning mills, sugar factories, and glassworks. She is supervised by Dr. Mathieu Piavaux (UNamur) and Claudine Houbart (ULiège).
