Masoud Zamani is Sessional Lecturer in Political Science at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Arts. His interdisciplinary scholarship spans international criminal law, human rights law, comparative law, and political history. With teaching experience across four countries, his research examines accountability mechanisms in international conflicts, humanitarian law applications, and regional security frameworks.
Recent publications address legal dimensions of the Iran-Israel conflict, accountability for infrastructure destruction in warfare, and extraterritoriality in non-international armed conflicts. Awards include recognition for teaching excellence and research distinction from Iranian academic institutions.
