Mary Worthington is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy and serves as residency program director for the PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency. She is board-certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and pediatric pharmacotherapy (BCPPS).

Her clinical practice focuses on pediatric pharmacotherapy at Children's of Alabama. Research examines active learning and simulation in pharmacy education, asthma management, and interprofessional approaches to pediatric care.
