Jill A. Morgan

Jill A. Morgan is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She practices at the Interprofessional Pediatric GI Clinic at the University of Maryland Midtown in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Morgan holds a PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed pharmacy practice and pediatric pharmacy residencies at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She has taught pediatric pharmacotherapy to nursing and pharmacy students and medical residents for many years, and directed the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency program. Board certified in pharmacotherapy and pediatric pharmacy, she is a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP).

Her research focuses on improving medication management for children, including asthma, constipation, interprofessional education, and pediatric dermatology. She co-created the Ew Meds List™, a resource addressing medication palatability. Dr. Morgan’s professional roles include editorial board membership for the Journal of Pediatric Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and leadership in organizations like the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA).

Her awards include the AACP Administrative Services Section Award, Mentor of the Year (Maryland Pharmacists Association), and the Governor’s Citation (2021). Her work emphasizes safe medication practices, interprofessional collaboration, and pediatric patient care innovation.
