Mary Woollen is an Instructor of Accounting at the School of Accountancy within the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She holds a Master of Accounting (1997) and a Bachelor of Arts (1983) from the same institution. Her professional background includes roles as a Certified Public Accountant (Hawaii), owner of Mary C. Woollen, CPA, and Lead Instructor for Becker CPA Review. She is a recipient of numerous teaching awards, including multiple nominations for the Board of Regents’ Excellence in Teaching Award and the SOA Excellence in Teaching Awards.
Woollen’s expertise lies in accounting education, focusing on courses such as Intermediate Financial Accounting, Federal Taxation, and introductory accounting. She is actively involved in academic organizations, serving as Faculty/Financial Advisor for Beta Alpha Psi’s Delta Theta Chapter.
