Dr. Mary White is Professor in the McAuley School of Nursing at the University of Detroit Mercy, teaching medical/surgical nursing, pathophysiology, and pharmacology since 2002. She maintains dual practice as a certified nurse practitioner at University Health Clinic and Birmingham Family Practice while volunteering at free clinics.
Her research examines spirituality in chronic illness management, women's cardiovascular health, and evidence-based pediatric care. Publications explore spiritual self-care frameworks and healthcare disparities. She holds PhD, MSN, and BSN degrees from Wayne State University and Detroit Mercy, with additional certification in online education.
