Dr. Janet Baiardi is a Professor at the McAuley School of Nursing, University of Detroit Mercy. She holds a PhD in Nursing from Wayne State University, Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from University of Michigan, Post Master's Certificate from Boston College, Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from Wayne State University, Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Detroit. She has been with Detroit Mercy since 1994 and served as coordinator of the family nurse practitioner program since 1997.
Her research focuses on qualitative health methods, aging populations, vulnerable populations, and self-care practices. She maintains strong interests in health promotion and nursing education methodologies.
