Mary Ryan is the Vice-Provost (Research and Enterprise) at Imperial College London and holds the Armourers and Brasiers' Chair in Materials Science. She leads an interdisciplinary research group focused on nanoscale materials and interfaces, with applications in energy, environmental remediation, and bio-sensors. Her work emphasizes operando methods in synchrotron science and nanomaterial stability.
