Mary Rogus is an Associate Professor Emerita at Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, part of the Scripps College of Communication. Her expertise spans television news producing, broadcast journalism ethics, and media industry dynamics. She has over 20 years of professional experience in local TV news as a reporter, producer, and executive producer, leading award-winning news teams. Rogus holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Kentucky (1986) and a B.S. in Communications from Ithaca College (1981).

- Teaching: Courses include TV News Producing, Radio News, and Media Ethics. She developed a TV News Election Coverage course.
