Ben Bogardus is an Associate Professor and Chair of Journalism at Quinnipiac University. He teaches courses in broadcast news writing, television reporting, podcasting, journalism ethics, and produces the 'QNN Newscast' capstone program.
His research examines broadcast journalism practices, podcast storytelling techniques, and newsroom management strategies. He has created documentary podcast series including 'Reporting on 9/11' and the award-winning 'Hunger in Hamden'.
His professional honors include an Emmy, Edward R. Murrow Award, and multiple Associated Press awards for newscast production and breaking news coverage.
