Mary Longman is an Associate Professor of Art & Art History at the University of Saskatchewan. Her practice bridges Aboriginal Art History with sculpture, drawing, and digital media, focusing on contemporary and historical Indigenous art nationally and internationally. She has exhibited widely, including solo shows like Warrior Women: Stop the Silence and public works such as the bronze sculpture Ancestors Rising.
