Jonathan Jones is a Chancellor's Postdoctoral Indigenous Research Fellow at the Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research, University of Technology Sydney. A Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi artist, curator, and researcher, he explores Aboriginal practices, historical archives, and community-driven projects. His work spans installations, film, and sculpture, emphasizing collaborative efforts with Indigenous communities. Jones has curated major exhibitions at institutions like the Art Gallery of NSW and pioneered initiatives like South-East Market to support regional Aboriginal artists.

- Curatorial roles: Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Cooperative (2000–02), Art Gallery of NSW (2002–12)
