Mary Jane Weiss

Mary Jane Weiss is a faculty member at Endicott College, serving as Dean of the Institute for Applied Behavioral Science and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). With 14 years at Endicott, she previously held a 16-year tenure as Director of Research and Training at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center at Rutgers University. Her research focuses on best practices in ABA, integrating compassionate care and cultural responsiveness into service delivery, enhancing practitioner ethics, and optimizing graduate education methods.

She actively contributes to the field through memberships on the Scientific Council of the Organization for Autism Research, Vice President of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment, editorial board roles for Behavior Analysis in Practice, and advisory positions at the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies. Her work also extends to collaboration with Melmark.
