Mary Hanson

Mary Hanson is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). With 18 years of experience, she specializes in teaching ESL/EFL to diverse student populations across international and U.S. institutions, including private, public, charter schools, community colleges, and universities. She served as Director of the Intensive English Program at UCCS for three years, demonstrating expertise in English language program development. Her roles include instructing in the MA TESOL program and supervising the Alternative Licensure Program, leveraging her practical experience with multicultural education.
