Jan Dormer is the Director of TESOL and ESL and Professor of TESOL at Taylor University. She has over 16 years of experience in TESOL ministry across Indonesia, Brazil, and Kenya, and 15 years of providing seminars on English learners in international Christian schools.

- BA in Elementary Education from Asbury College
Her research focuses on TESOL, second language acquisition, and integrating English teaching with ministry. She specializes in curriculum development, ESL program design, and supporting educators in Christian schools.
She has authored 15 notable publications from 2008 to 2023, emphasizing language teaching, cross-cultural education, and faith-based ESL initiatives. Her work trends include TESOL pedagogy, curriculum design, and bridging cultural gaps through language education.
