Mary Brabston

Mary Brabston is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems in the Accounting & Finance Department at the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business. Her research examines strategic applications of information systems with emphasis on electronic commerce and information resource management. Professional experience includes prior management roles in banking, political campaigns, and academic administration.

Teaching interests include:

• MIS strategy formulation
• Data communications infrastructure
• E-commerce business models
• Information ethics frameworks

Faculty advisor for multiple student organizations including Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, JDC West business competition team, and Management Information Systems Association. Recognized with the Students' Teacher Recognition Award for teaching excellence in 2007.
