Martin Williams is an Associate Professor in Organizational Studies and holds a courtesy appointment in Political Science at the University of Michigan. He is also affiliated with the Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford) as Associate Faculty and Green Templeton College as an Associate Fellow. Previously, he served as Associate Professor of Public Management at the Blavatnik School and held research roles at institutions including University College London and the London School of Economics.

His work bridges academic research with practical policy applications, informed by prior roles in Ghana’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Economic Policy Research Institute in Cape Town.
