Martin Sirois is a Senior Lecturer at McGill University's Department of History and Classical Studies. He holds a PhD from Princeton University (2014), alongside MA degrees from Princeton (2006) and the Université de Montréal (2000), and a BA from the Université de Montréal (1997). His research focuses on ancient Greek and Latin literature, literary criticism, ancient scholarship, and the history of ideas, with a specialization in Greek Cynicism and the period spanning 2000 BCE to 600 CE in Europe.

He contributes to the Classical Studies program and is involved with the Modern Greek initiatives at McGill.
